Every Creation Tells a Story
Step into the whimsical world of ‘On Raven Lane,’ where brother and sister duo Jay Penland and Jerri Penland-Yoffee bring a touch of magic to every creation. Growing up in an artistic home brimming with haunted tales from the Smoky Mountains, Jay and Jerri’s love for the unusual flourished. With Jay’s passion for woodworking and Jerri’s fascination with the odd and polymer clay, they dreamed of combining their talents to create something truly enchanting.
The spark for ‘On Raven Lane’ ignited one playful day when Jerri crafted a charming pumpkin family from Play-Doh with her young sons. Jay was captivated by her creation, and together, they envisioned an entire magical world. Their booth transports you into this fantastical realm, where each piece—from haunted houses to spellbinding cauldrons—is meticulously handcrafted and utterly unique.
Jay’s woodworking skills are a blend of time-honored techniques and modern innovation, inspired by his logging great-grandfather and grandfather in the mountains of North Carolina. Each piece of wood he transforms carries the legacy of his family’s craftsmanship, turning every nook and cranny into heirlooms destined to be cherished for generations.
Jerri’s artistic journey began with a childhood fascination for the macabre, sparked by watching ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ at the tender age of seven. Her passion for polymer clay and all things whimsical brings to life the enchanting, eerie characters and scenes that make ‘On Raven Lane’ so captivating.
Immerse yourself in the magic and wonder of ‘On Raven Lane,’ where every creation tells a story, and every detail is crafted with love and imagination.
