My name is Michelle Mattocks, and I have been crafting for more than 30 years. I now craft with my husband John Mattocks. I retired from MCAR after working there for more than 15 years with mentally challenged individuals.
I have operated two learn to swim programs in our local towns for more than 20 years. I also help my husband with Custom Trunk Panels for classic cars (www.customtrunkpanels.com). We have the opportunity to operate his business from our home.
My husband John retired from 30 years of working and managing three steel fabricating plants. He mostly worked out of Sharon, Pennsylvania; Birmingham, Alabama; and Edmonton, Canada. We both had the gracious opportunity to retire in 2021 from our full-time jobs.
By retiring, we are able to concentrate more forwardly on craft shows and travel in our motorhome with our little chihuahua, Peanut. We enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as meeting new crafters who become family. Speaking of crafters and crafting, it is a joy and an adventure to see their creative abilities at each craft show we attend.
We specialize in Corian solid surface cutting boards, of all shapes and sizes, from animals to fruits and vegetables. We also do work in wood engraving and wood signs, of which we can provide custom and special orders. With this being our first year at Shaker Woods, we are beyond excited to be part of the Shaker Woods’ family for many years to come.
I will be at booth 202. Hope to see you there.
