It is her commanding presence and explosive stage personality along with her dynamic and versatile voice that has made Vanessa Campagna a fan favorite. These traits along with her passion to perform and write have earned her the opportunity to work with some of the most talented people in the music entertainment business as well as perform at some of the biggest music venues across the country. It is her diversity, yet vocal purity that earned her the respect of world-renowned, multi-award winning, director/composer, the late, Marvin Hamlisch; who claimed, “Vanessa is the real deal.” Marvin took Vanessa under his wing and developed her, taking her along with him to the National, Buffalo Philharmonic, and Pittsburgh Symphonies for a variety shows. To this day, The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra still features Vanessa as a headliner in their Holiday Pops Series.
Vanessa was also a featured artist at the Latin Songwriters Hall Of Fame Awards, accompanied by Eduardo Marturet and the Miami Symphony Orchestra, where she payed tribute to Latin songwriting great, César Portillo de la Luz, singing one of his hit songs; “Contigo En La Distancia.”
In 2013, she was a part of the OSCAR winning team who collaborated on the music and lyrics for the Academy award winning documentary/short, Inocente, which aired on MTV.
When Vanessa isn’t out on tour, she spends her time in Nashville producing and writing music with A listers such as, mega-hit maker Desmond Child, multi #1 hit songwriter Derek George Liz Rose and more. Vanessa has written multiple top 10 hits on the UK Pop, Dance Charts & Billboard International charts for major label artists. Vanessa has also had her music featured on The CBS Network, multiple ABC TV shows and promo spots for both the 2020 & 2021 NFL Super-Bowls.
2020 was a breakout year for Vanessa as an artist. She featured alongside multi-platinum Christian/Pop recording artist, Michael W. Smith and garnered her first #1 hit on the Billboard Charts with the globally known song “Waymaker.” That same song later won Worship Song Of The Year at the 2021 K-Love Radio Awards.
